Quantar PTT

Post by es88 »

Would anybody know a simple way to key a Quantar PTT from the station backplane. I have the manual for the Quantar, and have been looking at the info from the system applications section. I have looked at Pin 47,22,8,18,43,7 as shown in the book. The manual states these are default I/O settings would I have to instruct the base to activate these default I/O pins. Is this a wildcard feature or default. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

First of all you haven't mentioned whether you need to provide just a PTT with a Carrier and/or Carrier with TPL or DPL Encode. Exactly what are you trying to accomplish with the System Connector and Base Station?
