Quantar Multi-NAC and RDLAP question

I have a VHF 25 w R2 Quantar
Station Control firmware R020.12.071
Station Wireline firmware R020.12..028
Station Exciter firmware R020.09.017
Station Boot1 firmware R.20.10.012
Station Boot2 firmware R.020.10.06
Codeplug Version 14

Problem 1 -
The unit is set up for analog and Astro CAI
I have the Multi-NAC set up and 3 entries in it.

The problem is none of them work, the only thing the station will key up on is 293 which is not one of the entries in the table.

Problem 2 -
The section on the RF configuration screen for RDLAP is greyed out. I can not turn it on.

any help would be great. Thanx

Station control firmware version 13 or newer is required for multi-NAC operation.

What are you trying to do with RDLAP?

It's greyed out because it's an Astro [VSELP] system parameter not applicable to stations configured for Astro CAI operation. An Astro25 repeater will repeat either P25 CAI voice or P25 data intrinsically.

I have 13 or newer (20) so why is it not working?

ok wil try and see if it repeats the P25 data then (text messaging)

Ignore the 20 prefix. You have version 12.

I think Motorola disabled Astro RDLAP in a version of the Windows Quantar RSS.

It seems that you could enable RDLAP in R14.00.04, then it was always greyed out in R14.01.00.

They finally fixed it in R14.04.00, and even re-named it "PACKET DATA".

I don't know why it was ever called "Astro RDLAP", as I don't think RDLAP has anything to do with P25. But RDLAP or Packet Data needs to be enabled if you want to pass P25 data messages through the Quantar.
