Unication just announced it's new G3 P25 pager. It hasn't rolled out yet, but it is definitely in the works. They haven't announced an ETA yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if we hear more about this by the end of the year (2013).
When you think about it, there's a LOT of of development that is going to have to go into this project: 700, 800, 900 MHz, conventional systems, trunking systems, etc.
They are absolutely serious about this, and as far as I know, no other manufacturer has voiced ANY interest in it at all. Their G1 analog pager is the best voice pager that I have ever seen, and I expect nothing less once they get this on the market.
I will post update here as I learn them.
