False Alerting Minitor V

Post by twowayradiony »

I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with the Minitor V False alerting.

I am getting complaints about false alerting with Minitor V VHF HI using an amplified charger connected to a discone antenna. This unit is used to alert the building of a call. They complain that it occurs mostly during the night time hours 12a-5a? Any thoughts

If you search back on minitor false, you will find a number of threads on the topic. I suggest you read them over. It is not an unusual situation.

Read the pager and the press s and you will get a squelch adjustment that is there SPECIFICALLY to deal with falsing issues.

If it is an older pager, there are firmware upgrades that can help.
