SUBJECT: Minitor VI Pager - static/noise heard on receipt of page or a page may be missed completely under certain low RF signal conditions.

MODEL / SYSTEM AFFECTED:
VHF models: A03JAC8JA1AN, A03JAC9JA1AN, A03JAC8JA2AN, A03JAC9JA2AN

SYMPTOM:
Users may report static/noise heard on receipt of page or a page may be missed completely under certain low RF signal conditions.

WORK-AROUND / MITIGATION:
Use of the pager in a charger amplifier base (RLN6506A) and VHF Antenna (RLN6507A) will improve the Minitor VI performance under low RF signal conditions.

CAUSE:
Under investigation by engineering

RESOLUTION:
Motorola Solutions, Inc. is working diligently to understand the root cause and provide a resolution to this problem.
No date for resolution is available at this time.

• This bulletin will be updated and reissued after the solution is identified and available.

• Expected availability for a resolution is currently for the end of July 2014.

On the UHF M6 machines we set the squelch to the loose setting....works great.
