Minitor V sensitivity/alerting issue

Post by Troyfire801 »

Is anyone aware of any known issues with Minitor Vs which appears as a poor sensitivity or will not alert in an area which has good TX coverage? I heard a rumor about a chip problem in a specific number of Minitor Vs but haven't been able to track it down.

Mine seems to work ok in an RF rich environment. We have a couple 300 watt paging transmitters near us and while it does desense a little bit, it still opens up when the tones drop. I don't know which release version it is because I haven't read the codeplug yet.
