Minitor II charger

Post by Bob »

Anyone have the part number for the Minitor II charger with the accessory plug on the back?

The one without is NRN4985. The wall wart for it is NRN4987. For giggles and grins, I dumped NRN4986 into the search and came up with the right description. I just need someone to confirm for me. Thanks!

WOOHOO! They're still available through MOL too! Just about the only accessory still available for the Minitor II.

Thanks Wes.

Yes, NRN4986B is the correct part number for the Minitor II Amplified Charger Base with Relay. I'm not sure that ordering a NRN4986B will also get you the NRN4987A wall transformer with it.

The part numbers for the combo pkg. which includes NRN4986B, NRN4987A, and an antenna are:
NLN3041AA Low Band
NLN3041AB VHF
NLN3041AC UHF

MOL currently shows the NLN3041AA to be NLA, but the AB and AC can be ordered.

I have plenty of the wall warts in house. I just need to replace one of the 4985s I have with the relayed model so I can run our in-house alert system from it.

The general consensus is that the Fed Sig Informer we are currently using sucks.

How much $$ is that charger going for on MOL now anyway? I've been wanting one for station alert and lights for a while now.

I have a NIB NRN4985B with power supply and UHF antenna cluttering up my office. I'd let it go for cheap.
PM me.

Matt,
My agency price is about $110. There's a guy selling them on eBay for $120 BIN plus shipping.
