Min 5 mode change voice announcement

Does anyone know how to turn off the voice announcement of mode change on the minitor 5 stored voice. One chief says he doesn't like to be notified each time he changes mode. There must be a jumper to cut somewhere.

Its in the programming software.

On 99.9 % of these that I program, the first thing the customer wants done is to "remove that annoying voice".

I am yet to understand /\/\'s logic on this feature.

It is easy to fix, on the User Data screen under the Model Options tab, it is the second field down from the top labled "Voice Memo". Set this to "no" and you will be good to go.... Check out the pic below.
