Minitor V amp/charger/ext antenna?

Post by Pj »

I found in the handout that a charger/amp is available for the MinV's. Do these have an external antenna input like the 2's had?

If so, what is the part number and cost for a lowband verison?

Yes, they do have an external antenna connection.

Low band: RLN5704A
VHF: RLN5705A
UHF: RLN5706A

$108.50 list/$78.72 NSO for any of them.

If shopping to add a Amp Charger for the V make sure the base body itself has a part number of RLN5869C and not the "A" or "B" at end of part number as these series have been swapped out or recalled. It is actually still an active issue, your dealer can reference Field Service Bulletin FSB10068B-extended until July 2009.it is a resistor issue in the amp chargers only on some of the A and B versions.
