Looking for compact arrowstick controller

Post by jmr061 »

I am looking for the smallest arrowstick controller that is ground output based. This is to be used on a 6 LED arrowstick.
The normal controllers are just to big for my application. Any suggestions?

Thanks

an arduino, a LED segment strip, and a pushbutton...you could put it ANYWHERE.

Never heard of that product how about a link to what your talking about. This is an existing arrowstick and the controller needs to output 6 grounds to trigger each LED individually just the like the OEM controller that is too big.

What he's suggesting is "build yr own, n00b!"

Sadly, I haven't seen much in the way of small arrowstick controllers. Most of the new stuff is two-wire... have you considered just buying a new stick?

Its in a non typical police vehicle, it is a new stick with red/blue flashers on the end. I was playing dumb because what he suggested doesn't work for the application.

so you've never heard of the suggestion, but you know it doesn't work?

tell me what kind of LED stick you're working with, and i'll use those three items to build one to suit.

Google searches are an amazing thing. I am looking for something plug and play. So yes I know picking up a serial controller won't work without some sort of interface. I am not into building things.

It is a ULB44-TD-RB from star1889.com

If you can build something awesome. Send me a PM.

Thanks
