Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 Touchscreen Help Please

Post by sheldon »

Hi guys,

I have a Panasonic Toughbook CF-29 (CF-29LW1AXS).

In the bios, Touchscreen is enabled. I have Windows XP Pro SP3. Device Manager shows Touchpad/Touchscreen under Mice and Pointer Options.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I cannot get it working.

Thanks

The touchscreen may just be bad. We have a lot of them failing on our FD Toughbooks. Heartland charges over $400 to repair them. This and an occasional hard drive are about the only failures we see.

I have a lot of XT restore disks for Mark 3 and later. If you know which mark you have, I will be happy to send you a disk set. Then for sure the proper drivers will be loaded but my money is on a broken touch screen.
