Motorola DP3600 DMR Hand Held

Post by RadAct »

I aquired one of these units for free, which is the European version of the XPR series.
I bought the software and cable for it and want to use it for Amateur Radio.

But, it turns out the radios band split is 450-512 mHz. I know from other radios that
are in that band split, the CPS software can be modified to force the programing of
the radio beyond the band edges it's made for.

Would anyone know how to modify the CPS software to do this?

If it's not against the rules to do this, I am willing to send you the program and a copy
of my codeplug to play with to see if it's possible.

FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY

Thanks in advance.
