HT800 2 channel

I have two HT800 UHF radios with 2 channels.

These are fitted with 8 channel selectors with an endstop fitted. I have converted P110s in the past and know of programs for converting HT600s (Toolkit/2to6) but can't see anything on the HT800 (or R210).

The RSS has a radio configuration menu option which can be used to select 2, 8 or 16 channels but when deployed and an attempt is made to download the codeplug to the radio the software will not complete the operation and complains that the radio is only 2 channel (go figure!).

Is it possible to convert these to 8 channels?
