Monitoring Harris p25 with xts radio

Postby ve5wil » Sun Jun 28, 2015 8:40 pm

I lost the link I had to a youtube vid showing how to set up a xts series radio to monitor a Harris ( or other trunk system) as a typical scanner ( that is not to imitate a registered subscriber radio / hidden talkgroup on the system). Does anyone know of the video?

I can't set up my xts to do hidden talkgroup scan on the system as it requires both the sysid and wacn id (only have sysid - wacn I'd apparently need to be installed with a dongle from what the sys admin told me)

Thanks

wil
