XTL5000/ XTL2500 - shift key trick for out of band?

Post by g8tzl2004 »

I want to program an XTL very slightly out of band ie. less than 1 MHz.

I know you can hex edit the codeplug but is there a simple "shift key" trick for small out of band programming - like with the Maxtrac, GM300 etc.

Thanks

The radio can be programmed slightly out of the published range (in recent FW) but whatever is the range with your CPS that's it without hacks.

Do you know if there is a ham hex edited codeplug with the band edges adjusted for the relevant ham bands floating around ie. UHF R2 and 900MHz ?
