M1225 on Windows 7

M1225 on Windows 7

Ok, dusted off my M1225 CD to program and old radio, but I cant get it to install on Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit version. Says I need a win32 version. Any suggestions or tricks???

Yes 32bit only should run in a virtual machine like MS XP Mode depending on the version you have. otherwise find a DOS machine.

Thank you for replying. That's exactly what I did. Was hoping there was some other way that I could make it work without going into a virtual machine.

The virtual XP mode is THERE for exactly the problem you have. 1225 RSS is 32bit only.
