MTS2000 Help

Post by Fireman90 »

Hello Group! I had a MTS 2000 800 mhz trunking radio programmed for a trunking system. But when I turn the radio on it says out of range, but i know for sure that I am in range. Anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks

What radios do you own?: Too many!

Then you don't have all of the control channels programmed in, or some of them are wrong. If it works in a few days, then you need to add/change the control channels to the right ones.

If this is a Smartzone system, that's another ball of wax that I'd rather not get in to.

Did the radio work at all? If it did, then you have the wrong control channels programmed in and it will work once it lands back on the control channel(s) that you do have programmed.
