Motorola HT750 MDC1200 DOS muting

Post by 4-crime »

Does anyone know how to enable DOS muting on an HT750 so that when the MDC1200 ID transmits the tone is a short beep rather than the regular MDC1200 tone?

Are you talking about the tone the user transmitting hears? If so, it is not DOS and it can be set by unchecking the side tone and checking the short side tone in the MDC system. If you are taking about DOS, which mutes the data burst on the receiving radio, that is also set in the MDC system.

I am talking about the data burst. What setting do I need to change?
