Spectra head swap help.

I have a 900 mhz spectra with a B5 head and I wanted to change it to an A4 head. When I looked at hex 6060 it returned 2F ( I expected the widely reported AF). Does anyone know what I should input here, the standard values for the A4/A5/A7 wont work and crash the radio on reboot.

I tried changing the radio to a A4 head by bit banging the model number and hex 6060 stubbornly stays 2F, The radio wide setup screen displays standard head and it cant be changed there either.

What is the MLM version ?

I dont know offhand but you make a good point, why not move the head and the MLM to the target radio.

I 'll look it up later today.
