I have seen a few posts now that mention jumpering the filters instead of replacing them. How would this be done and will it work ok without replacing the filters altogether?
Thanks, Ryan
Jumpering filters in 900 MHz Maxtrac

Simply jumpering the filters is probably not a wise idea..
they are there to block spurious signals, and to limit the amount of 'crap' the receiver hears as well, removal only widens the bandwidth, which means more ISM garbage as well as those pesky baby monitors, phones and who knows what else.
Install the proper filters and be done with it, it's the only way to achieve the necessary selectivity you will need on 33 CM.
