GTX Errors

Post by 60hzEE »

I tried to read my M11WGD4CB1AN and got a 'model not supported" message. I thought maybe blanking the logic board and re-initializing would fix the problem. Wrong. After blanking, I got an ERROR 06 and the ominous continuous tone....

Now, the software won't let me do anything until an archived GTX file is loaded. Which I don't have, of course.

What's the cause of all this?

You didn't head the warning that you received when you got the "MODEL NOT SUPPORTED" warning.
You are using a version of the RSS that was older than the version that was used to program the radio.
Now you will have to obtain a replacement code plug and start all over.

Dennis: Thanks for the help.

Can you or someone help me with a copy of an archived file so that I can reinitialize the radio?

E06 is apparently a checksum error.
