New batteries draining quickly

Post by marcosorourke »

Has anyone noticed their batteries on XPR 7550s draining faster than before with the latest firmware? I'm running R02.06.20 and it doesn't seem that my extra capacity batteries (that are less than a year old) are almost empty by the end of an 8 hour day.

FIRMWARE Problem with that release, you need to upgrade firmware. See below release notes:

IMPRES battery capacity – the incorrect capacity readout of fully charged batteries, which was reported with firmware versions R02.06.20 and R01.11.20, was corrected in firmware R02.06.21 (XPR3300, XPR3500, XPR7350, XPR7550, XPR7380, XPR7580) and R01.11.21 (XPR6350, XPR6550, XPR6380, XPR6580). Note: Non-IMPRES batteries and SL7550, SL7590 were not affected.

Newest release of Firmware is R02.06.33

Thank you. I saw the newer firmware and upgraded and that indeed solved the problem.
