Strange XPR issue

Post by overhere »

So I'm having a strange issue with an XPR6300 UHF, Q model, that is working just fine (digital, analog) on frequencies > about 454 MHz, but seems to refuse to transmit anything (or weak, crackly signal) on anything lower. Doesn't seem like a standard tuning issue as it's bang on for frequencies about 456 MHz but doesn't work on about 452. I have another 6300, same model with the same codeplug that works just fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

So just a small update -- I did some further testing, programming analog channels for various frequencies and testing with another radio. The results are:

454.0 and lower - no rx, does tx but just transmits noise, no audio
455.0 works, but some static in background
460.0 and up works fine

So it seems like there is some kind of cutoff around 455

Thanks!

Send it in to the factory for a new board.
