Can An End User Determine Which Type Of MOTO TRBO System They ARe Using?

Post by Jim1348 »

We are on MOTO TRBO at work. I seem to recall the HTs are XPR6550s. Is there an easy way for me to determine if we are Capacity Plus, Connect Plus, or something else?

You could take the battery off and see if there is a sticker on the back of the radio indicating connect plus. There could be a sticker with the C+ part number of HKLN4482A. If not, you'll have to read the radio to find out.

I have a XPR6380 with the Connect Plus Trunking label, but the part # is HKLN4481A. What's the difference between that, & the HKLN4482A? GARY

If the hardware doesn't give you the information, grab a cheap SDR and a copy of DSD+. It will tell you all you need to know.
