Xpr 4550 locked?? Solid tone sounding when powered o?

Postby NCradiorca5w » Thu Feb 25, 2016 4:59 pm

Hi, newbie here I have a xpr 4550 that I purchased. Radio powers up, lights display all function. After the radio boots up it emits a solid "tone" from the speaker. It's volume can be controlled with the volume knob. No other buttons function or change anything. The radios firmware was upgraded today and a dmr code plug programmed in to it today. The radio shows the first zone in the code plug on the display and was successfully programmed according to the pc. Is there a trick, dance, or a part I need here. Thanks so much in advance.

Have you tried reverting to the previous good working codeplug you have archived?
