XPR6550 Speaker issue

Postby eagle844 » Sat Jun 11, 2016 3:28 pm

I have a 6550 and the speaker will stop working. It appears that is thinks a mic is connected. An external speaker/mic will not work at all. I can short the 2 top right pads and the radio beeps a few beeps then it works fine. There is not a pattern, it is random.

What do you think the issue might be?

Thank you in advance for your time.
