CODEPLUG

Post by formula1976 »

I'm having a problem with a codeplug.
I have the most current version of the software 3.6 build 97.
Dos anyone have a sample of a UHF mototrbo 6550?
Please let me know, it would help me a LOT.

Thanks

If you have a legitimately licensed copy of the MotoTRBO CPS, it comes with sample codeplugs for every supported model. See the sample directory under the main CPS directory.

I do have a licence, it's the only way to get the softwae. Your information is not correct, for the MOTOTRBO it only comes with the 6550 VHF not the UHF.
The question still out there, is there anyone that can help.

Thanks

Well I'm looking at the CPS right now and the sample 6550 file is for a Q split UHF (403-470) model # H55QDH9LA1AN. If your CPS is missing the appropriate sample files then I'd give Motorola a call and see if they can help you out.

Well I found another codeplug and I'm already programing with it.
Thanks.

Do you know of any interface to extract the codeplug directly from the radio bypassing the CPS.
Does MOTOTRBO have a RSS software?

Thanks for your response.

Why do you need this? is it becasue of your password issue you talked about in another thread? If so, I answered how to do it in a couple of different threads...this one below is one of them. Read my last post in it:

No, Windows CPS only, as all other new models have been since 1997 or so.
