Moto Trbo 1000 channel capacity ???

Has anyone heard of the xpr6550 or the xpr4550 having 1000 channel capacity . I saw a pdf file at Motorola stating this and a few dealers online have these specs. Would it be a firmware upgrade or just a new version coming out . Or just one big typo .

I have figured it out the zones in the xpr4550 can only be 160 channels and as many zones as you you need up to 7 zones in analog . So 6 zones of 160 channels and the 7th zone of 40 channels this is a maximum based on the littlest amount of zones in a radio .

Yup, it's true.. have fun with a hard limit on 16 channels per zone though

My mobile has two zones with more than 90 channels in each zone. Portable maybe has a hard limit?

Newest firmware releases newer features also, like programmable buttons for channel select.
