marti2000 interface to MTR300

Post by miler »

Anybody interfaced a marti 2000 phone patch to an MTR3000 in digital mode? Looking for technical info on this interface.

Should pretty much be the same interface as in analog. Have you purchased the Digital Telephone Interconnect EID for the MTR? You will need this in order to get the audio in and out of the port.

yes,I have the interconnect eid, but wasn't sure how to physically connect it. IE: wireline board/ 24 pin connector?

I don't have the guide handy, but based on my experience I am certain it'll be the DB25. Motorola did a damn good job of making the 96 pin connector just about useless.

I have the unit hooked up and functioning now (DB25 was the correct interface connector). I am having a problem with the audio being distorted and a 60 cycle buzz on the audio when it is from the phone to the radio. The buzz is only there with the phone line audio source. The patch test tone is fine. Any ideas?

Which pin are you using for input? What level is your device delivering to the MTR? What impedance is your connector?
