NMN6243B RSM ok to use on a VHF XTS3000?

Is it okay to use this combo RSM (that has provision for an antenna) and HT? I'm only asking because unterminated antenna ports make me nervous - I don't want to blow out my finals because I used the wrong mic!

That mic is made for the Jedi series radios, it has extra pin on the connector that depresses the antenna switch on the radio, so it will not fit on the XTS series properly.
"Archers."
"I beg pardon, sire. Won't we hit our own troops?"
"Yes....but we'll hit theirs as well. We have reserves....attack"
