Forcing codeplugs... Good / Bad???

Post by RESCUE161 »

I have a whored out codeplug, or atleast it appears to be. The current codeplug that is in the radio I have only supports conventional and trunked operation analog only, but it is Astro ready.

My question is: What would happen if I force the whored out codeplug into the radio I have?
The radio is 1 MEG and the codeplug is 512.
Will I completely screw it up? I just want to be able to make this radio do some sort of digital to cut down on monitoring.

Here is the flashcode for the codeplug with all of the options.
