Different prices for the same software options?

Post by Pj »

Looking thru a state contract, the state paid $720 for Smartzone to be included in the new Astro Spectra's, but they also paid $1200 for Smartzone in there new XTS3000's.

All were bought at the same time on the same contract. Why the two prices?

Maybe they purchased a lot more mobiles than portables? Otherwise, I don't know. A question for the Motorola regional sales rep, I guess.

Next time I will see him, I will ask. Its a 1 to 1 ratio of moblies to portables. In CT, every trooper has a take home car.
