Motorola XTL2500 Strange Power-Up

Post by MotoFAN »

Hi all!

We get a bunch of new XTL2500 radios with M5 remote head. They work fine, but control head power-up process a little bit strange. Look at video and you will see: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-pWFR5JwSc

After that radio works just fine. No any problems with display and operation at all.

We have checked two different XTL2500 sets and both works identically.

Any ideas or suggestions?

P.S.
These radios come from factory with R12.xx.xx Firmware and DPS and not yet upgraded to R14.xx.xx.
