Did you mean other than Motorola?

The APX BSM lists one [66009254001] with the service aids. The manual says you need to use it with the RLN4510 regulator box that comes with the XTS battery eliminator. This box also works with the Trbo portable battery eliminator[PMNN4076].

Oh really? So you can buy TRBO and APX eliminators and plug them into the existing regulator box?

Sweet, new things to order from MOL...

Somebody, somewhere recently had this Motorola setup priced, here or on RR or a similar site. The price is out of sight, and needless to say you won't get away for $14.95 like you will with one of the el-cheapo setups on eBay. All it can be is a 78XX regulator and an adjustment pot in a battery case, plus a power plug. If I needed one and could afford to butcher a battery case I'd build my own.

The real regulator box that XMO mentioned is a bit more complex... it gives you variable voltage and preset 7.5V, current shunt, etc. It's still ludicrously priced but I got mine for a fantastic deal...

I'm just looking for something to use in the car. Nothing too fancy so I guess I will have to wait until someone creates an aftermarket unit.

Well now, since the APX6500 is a mobile radio I'm pretty sure it doesn't need one of those. Looks like a TRBO battery though.
