Service Monitor repair

This forum exists for the purposes for discussing service monitors (This includes but is not limited to Motorola, HP, Aeroflex, GD, etc). Additional topics allowed include test procedures, interpretation of test results, where to find information about specific tests, antenna VSWR, return loss testing, duplexer and filter alignment, etc.

Service Monitor repair

can anyone recomend a reliable place to have my IFR COM120 repaired. It is having start up issues.(1st Lo. Osc. Fail) I understand replacement modules are in short supply. Aeroflex/IFR no longer repairs them in house.

A local place to me i have been using and they are pretty good.
You will have to call them and see about your model.

If you are in the midwest area, Cardinal Electronics in Illinois. Unfortunately, I no longer have their address or phone #. I think they are in Arlington Heights or Rolling Meadows.
