R2200 PL decode difficulties

This forum exists for the purposes for discussing service monitors (This includes but is not limited to Motorola, HP, Aeroflex, GD, etc). R2200 PL decode difficulties

CAn anyone tell me how to fix this problem? I have available 3 different R2200A/B units that all work well otherwise, except for this: When a transmitter is monitored, the PL decode function will display 3 or 4 false readings, and usually finally selltle on the correct code. Seems to be common in this monitor. Could this be poor receiver alignment?
