AeroFlex 3920 AC24011 Current Shunt

Post by K9LPK »

Question: Can one make a simple current shunt say with a Dale 3 watt .01 ohm 1% tolerance across a Pomona dual banana plug and work on the 3920? Working on XPR4580 and running Auto Test II to check PA Bias and TX voltage etc. Just a thought. I know Motorola makes the DDN9837A-Motorola 20 AMP CURRENT SHUNT 0.01 OHM and AeroFlex has the AC24011. Expensive to say the least. I am just reaching out for a sensible answer
of do or dont and why? Thanks in advance for any input here.
