IFR 1600 option numbers

In the IFR-1600S there seems to be no match up between the sticker on the back and the Configuration Screen info, and I believe that
*opt? shows something different again....
Can someone please explain the options system to me, surely there must be some chart for hardware and software options ?
I found such a chart for the 294x Series machine in "Programming Manual Vol 11", but it is clearly a different box...
