Astro Spectra High Power VHF

Postby SoCalRescue » Sat Apr 27, 2013 6:08 pm

hey all, I just picked up an Astro Spectra VHF high power W9 remote unit. I've never worked with this series before and I am just curious if

a) will this program right up in Astro Mobile CPS or do I need RSS
b) is there a special cable or does anyone have a link to an aftermarket RIBLESS cable that will work to program this radio.

Thanks in advance!

The latest version for these is Astro Spectra CPS, 5.03 IIRC. And the high power units use a standard DB25 cable that plugs into a RIB.

"I beg pardon, sire. Won't we hit our own troops?"
"Yes....but we'll hit theirs as well. We have reserves....attack"
