XPR 5550 Day/Night mode

Postby rescuer » Thu Mar 10, 2016 4:35 am

Greetings everyone.

I don't think this is possible but I will ask, is there a way to activate the Day/Night mode from the rear accessory connector?

What I would like to do is the radio be in Day mode typically, however when I turn the headlights on the vehicle, the XPR automatically switches to Night Mode.

Similar to the way Ignition Sense works for turning the radio on with the key switch. I could get real greedy an hope for a way to control the brightness as I control the brightness on the car instrument panel, but a simple Day/Night option would suffice. 8)

Thank you to everyone.

Sorry,

Just chewed through the XPR 5550 sample codeplug in TRBO CPS, there doesn't appear to be any of the relevant functions available on the accessory port. Nothing for display brightness or day/night mode in the accessory pins.
