Cap+, All call, how to have a radio NOT respond

Post by RFguy »

System is a single repeater Capacity Plus.

Is there a way to program a particular radio to NOT receive an All Call transmission that is initiated on the system by another user (supervisor)?

I can't see anywhere that this can be selected.

Not by using the true default All Call feature, the radios are hard coded to recognize it. What could work is to use a random regular talkgroup, say "500" for instance. Add it to all of your receive lists in the radios, so they will all respond to it. Then just omit it from the radios or individual receive lists that you don't want to respond.
