Digital Contacts

Postby Thomas » Thu Mar 16, 2017 6:02 pm

Is there a way to make 2 separate digital contacts with the same TG number. I have recently started programming some digital commercial channels and they use TG 1, TG 2 etc. Obviously these groups are used on the amateur DMR side. When I try to create separate digital contacts with the same TG number the CPS lets me do this. When I program a channel with the new TG1 for example the radio displays the World Wide TG1.

Is there a work around for this or am I trying to do something the radio won't do.

No, even though you can create multiple contacts with the same ID and assign them separately to each individual channel, the radio will only display the first one it comes to in memory, as you're observing.
