Astro Spectra Upgrade

Postby yardbirdjr » Tue Jun 09, 2015 8:07 am

Hello

This might sound like a stupid off the wall question.

Can a Astro Spectra be upgraded to do both 700/800 Mhz frequencies?

I saw where some systems are starting to license 700 Mhz. trunking channels.

I also saw a system tech say that radios on this particular system will need to be able to handle the 700 Mhz. frequencies.

Just a question that I wanted to see if I could get an answer to.

Thanks

David

No, it is an 800 radio only. If your system uses any 700 freqs, you will need an XTL at a minimum.
