XTS5K ibutton

Post by ve5wil »

MOL is taking forever in setting up my account.

I was wondering if anyone knows a Mot dealer , preferably in Canada or the US that can supply a I-button for flash upgrade.

Want to add H35 and H37 to my radio. thanks

Just a wild guess, but does your radio already have H38, SmartZone Systems Operation? If so, that includes H35 and H37 already. You cannot but a XTS5K that is not factory capable of H35.

Thanks for this info! I have been worried about the XTS3000 I just bought for Ham use and not being able to use it in analog mode. Flashcodes are relatively new to me, as I only have an HT1000 and an older MTS2000 and never looked much into the codes. (the XTS I ordered has H38)
So all of the XTS series will support analog regardless, or are there ones that only support digi?

I plan to do some P25 simplex, and hopefully we get a P25 repeater I can use eventually, but obviously still need conventional.

I am now hooked on Motos for ham use :)
