XTL Key Fail

Postby tuckerm » Wed Apr 12, 2017 5:28 pm

I have an XTL-2500 that has a unique problem. The radio will hear secure/encrypted traffic fine, but when they go to transmit they get a Key Fail. I have tried multiple carriers and encryption modules with different versions with no luck. Radio key loads fine and everything seems normal until they transmit. Transmitting in the clear works just fine.

Thoughts?

Does the radio have multikey? Incorrect key strapped/selected on channel?

D'oh! That's what it is. For whatever reason when I cloned the radio the CKR didn't clone across so that's the issue. Thank you.
