Cloning XTL2500 UHF R2 into XTL2500 UHF R1

Postby Black Sheep Customs » Thu Mar 01, 2018 9:11 pm

I have 2 XTL2500s. is it possible to clone the UHF R2 program into the UHF R1? The frequencies are within range of both radios. Thank you

What radios do you own?: XPR5550, XPR7550e

Yes...sort of.

Open a session of CPS and read the source radio.

Open a SECOND session of CPS and read the target radio.

Arrange your screen so you can see the "tree views" of both radios. On the source radio side, put your mouse over the top most item in the tree view, usually the serial number of the radio. Holding down the left mouse button, drag and drop that serial number over the serial number in the target radio CPS. It should copy MOST fields over. If there are menu items on a display radio, you'll have to manually do those. I think radio ID's are not copied either.
