just got a 7500 with an o7 head. Please see video. When powering up unit you'll hear a loud hum and then no audio. Alert tones/keypad tones nothing, unit receives traffic but no audio. This happens even when not connected to radio drawer.
I then attached an o5 head to the unit and it works perfectly fine. Alert tones, radio audio loud and clear. Is this o7 head no good?

Says your video has been removed when clicking the link?
What is the firmware version of the radio? New enough to support the O7? If it is then I would say the head is the issue. Even if the CH firmware didn't match that of the radio drawer the drawer would update the head when attached (assuming the radio has new enough firmware for the O7).
