APX O9 display question

Post by intel861 »

Does anyone know of a way to project an O9 head to a laptop?

On our O9 heads they are kinda hard to see due to the black and white and the way they are mounted in the console. You have to lean forward to see what channel you are on. I know Motorola used to have the vRCH software that would put the radio on the screen of a laptop. Doing a google search, I found a few aftermarket stuff, but it is only for older series of radios, newest one I found was for a CDM1250.

I don't really need to control anything, (though that would be awesome), was just wondering if anyone knew of anything out there that would just let me see the control head in real time so instead of leaning forward to see what channel I'm on, I could just look at the computer screen that is already open.

I figure it is a long shot, but you never know.

Thanks in advance.
