CP & HT volume controls

Motorola has changed the volume pot number from 1880619Z06 a 50K ohm to a 1880619Z09 20 ohm pot. Have you tried the 20 ohm pot in a radio? How did it work?
I have used the z09 parts with no trouble. I have no z06 parts to check but the z09 measured slightly under 50K on my bench meter so I'm not sure where the 20 ohms comes from.
