W9 into CV 1.5 DIN opening, need bezel or trim piece

Post by Leadenwah »

I am installing a W-9 control head in the 1.5 DIN space of a 2006 Crown Victoria
where the AM/FM radio had been.

The W-9 fits fine, no trouble routing cables, but I cannot find a bezel or trim piece to make
a clean installation. Nothing from Metra or other aftermarket suppliers fits. Faceplates from
consoles ( Troy, Havis, etc. ) have too much overlap.

Would greatly appreciate any thoughts or ideas as to how I can solve this either here or by PM.

The factory radio delete cars would have the filler panel that your looking for. You would obviously need to trim out the portion needed for the control head to be visible.
